We chatted to Cathy Olson at Love at First Invite about her wonderful invitations. Cathy is/was a professional graphic designer, one day a friend changed her life – asking her to design her wedding invitations. Soon after that Love at First Invite was born – Thank goodness!

Our custom invitations! We love getting inspiration from wedding day details and coming up with something completely unique!

Meeting with couples deep in love, and the smell of freshly printed or pressed paper.

Not super into famous people, so I’d still have to say my Besties are all I’d want!
Which wedding are you: Beach, Mountain, Forest, or Countryside?
Our wedding was already beach, but if I could “do-over” it would be Countryside with all of it’s charm!

Resist the urge to send out your Wedding invitations too early. Giving your guests a later RSVP deadline gives your guests more time to decide. For the couple getting married, 4-5 months out may seem just around the corner – but to your guests, it may seem lightyears away, and consequently they may not know their schedules yet. Aim to send out your invitations 6-8 weeks before the wedding, with the RSVP deadline 3-4 weeks before the big day. Your guests’ answers will be more accurate and they will love you for it!
What’s your most outrageous wedding memory?
Designing custom invitations for a bride in England. It was so fun to learn all about their country and culture. And our phone conversations were a blast!
